AIRPORT CHECK-IN

Step 1: Check in at the Air Cambodia counters

Passengers can look up check-in counter information on the electronic boards at the airport, then go to Air Cambodia check-in counters and present the flight tickets and travel documents. Staff at the check-in counter will check the information on the tickets, print the boarding pass, and check-in baggage (if applicable), and provide guidance such as boarding gate number, boarding time, etc.

Step 2: Entry/exit procedures and security check

After entry/exit procedures, carry-on baggage and carry-on items such as watches, belts, backpacks, bags, etc will be screened by security staff.

Step 3: Move to the boarding gate

All passengers move to the boarding gate. After checking the boarding passes and travel documents, passengers will get on the aircraft and take the correct seats as specified in the boarding passes.

Check-in time

Check-in time varies from domestic to international flights operated by Air Cambodia:

• Check-in time for domestic flights is 1.5 hours to 30 minutes before departure.

• Check-in time for international flights is from 02 hours to 40 minutes before departure time.

Check-in for cooperation flights

Customers should check in at the operator's counter if they purchase tickets under a code-share agreement between Air Cambodia and another carrier, in which the other carrier operates the flight. 

Passengers should carefully review the information on their tickets and the operator's website to determine the check-in counters' precise opening and closing times.

Some notes when proceeding with check-in

• In case of scheduled change, the check-in counter's opening and closing time will be changed accordingly.

• If you do not check in by the check-in deadline you will not be able to travel on the flight. Depending on your fare conditions, a failure to check in on time may also result in:

➤ Making your ticket invalid for travel or becoming non-refund in case there are restrictions on changes. You will need to make a new booking and purchase a new ticket.

➤ Paying change fee, and/or fares difference for the new applicable fare.

➤ Due to potential traffic delays, check-in time, and security screening, you are recommended to be at the airport at least 60 minutes before the departure of domestic flights and 120 minutes before the departure of international flights.

WEB CHECK-IN

Web check-in is available on domestic and international flights operated by Air Cambodia and departs from PNH, SAI, REP, SGN, and DAD airports.

How to process Web check-in

Passengers with valid tickets and confirmed seats can check in their flights by accessing the Check-in section on Air Cambodia’s website. After completing online check-in procedures, a digital boarding pass will be sent to the passenger’s email.

Check-in time

Passengers check-in online for their flights from 24 hours to 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.

At airport

• For domestic flights, passengers note the following information:

◦ If not having checked baggage, passengers go directly to the security area, then present identification documents and the digital boarding pass saved in the phone

◦ If having checked baggage, passengers go to the check-in counter at the airport, and present identification documents and boarding pass saved in the phone to check in luggage.

• For international flights, whether having checked baggage or not, passengers are required to be at airport check-in counters to show other identification documents and have the boarding pass printed out. Please be at our check-in counters before closing time.

Some notes when proceeding with check-in

• Online check-in is not available for the following passengers:

◦ Passengers requesting special services (for special meal services, online check-in is still supported).

◦ Passengers traveling with children under the age of two.

◦ Passengers traveling on flights operated by other airlines.

• Check-in can be proceeded each time for a maximum of 9 passengers. If a booking has more than 9 passengers, please check in online multiple times for passengers in the same booking reference.
